A whisper from the future, Samhain is coming

So, Halloween is coming up.

Yes, that's right, it's over a month away and I'm mentioning it. The reason, of course, is that people always need plenty of notice for parties these days and I will naturally be holding my annual Halloween Costume Party again this year.

There are two dates that I am currently choosing between. October 31st is a Wednesday, so the choice is between the Saturdays either side of it.

Saturday October 27th
For: The closest Saturday before Halloween! What can be more traditional than that?
Against: Everyone else has the same idea and has their party then.

Saturday November 3rd
For: Little to no competition with other parties.
Against: It's after the Halloween date. Search your feelings, does it feel right?

I cannot make a poll as I have not a paid account* so please leave a quick comment with which dates suit you and possibly even a thought about them. Decision will be made in the not too distant future so people can be invited earlier.



*I don't really need one since I only ever use one icon and this is the first time I've even thought about a poll

The 27th be the final night of my Shakespeare students' performances, thus rendering it not good for for me, as the last night is generally followed by bump-out then cast-party..

I'm leaning towards Nov 3rd, only thing stopping me is the whole party after the actual cause thing. Your comment will most likely tip the hand over, but will wait to see if other people comment just in case.

(So make sure nothing else is booked Nov 3rd *wink*)
