Teapot Happenings

My teapot broke on Wednesday night. It was a nifty teapot, with a loose leaf strainer, a lip to pour from instead of a spout, it was a mixture of glass and pastic so you could see how much tea was left, and it was 750mL which is a good capacity for both a one person or a two person pot. All the features meant I was sad when it broke because I didn't know where to get another like it - my mum had given me that one from an op shop. Dad tipped me off that he thought they might be an Thingz or Homeart, or perhaps a particular naturopath we know in Leederville. So I trundled off to the shops for Thingz and Homeart on Thursday to no avail. Had a headache that night from not enough water - it seems my body is used to vast quantities already. Managed to get myself out the door early on Friday - a minor miracle - and went past the Naturopath before work. Success! Teapots at $10 each. I got 3. One for work, one for home, and one in case of future breakages. Made by the same people but I think they made a few design changes since my first teapot; the lid slots in now, the lip for pouring is more defined, and the plastic extends further on the bottom so that the glass doesn't touch the surface the teapot sits on. Has all the good features still, so doubleplus yay good.
