Webcomic artist apparently a terrorist?
Thursday, May 10th, 2007 01:54 pmI hope no one else has LJed this, because I'm still hopelessly behind after my trip.
I read Real Life Comics, among others. I was catching up on my backlog, when I came across the news down the bottom of this comic:

Clicky link later, I read this different comic based on the artist's real life happenings:

And the icing on the cake in this article:
http://www.fleen.com/archives/2007/05/03/breaking-news-3/
For those of you who don't like clicking links, the short story is that a guy made a comment about a gun at his government job and got fired because of it. He then made a webcomic about his getting fired in his regular comic, only to have the police turn up on his doorstep due to the comic being a borderline terrorist act. WTF? Hopefully only in America and not ever elsewhere.

Date: 2007-05-10 06:39 am (UTC)and as a good thing for the guy accused of it, I'm sure all the publicity for his comic is going to help him out with more readers. Not to mention the storyline he's been handed.
Would still suck to be him, or anyone else that has been or undoubtedly will be in his position.
