Dumber and Dumber
Monday, September 25th, 2006 02:44 pmOk, I am definitely am getting ditzier/dumber/whatever. It is more often these days for mis-typing to occur in abundance ( I just have good checking skills) and my memory ain't what it used to be even a little bit. I type completey different words to what I should too, such as "ain't" back there was "at" until I just checked it, or I miss a few words out of the sentence without realising it, or double a word such as "while a while" instead of "wait a while"
Oh, but the tale of horror, the mortification that has prompted this spiel. Sometimes people ask for something, and then goes on a tangent or I grab their details before putting through the order, and I'll forget what they ordered and then 5 seconds later remember. I didn't used to be like that, but I've gotten used to being silly like that now. Today, however, today was embarrassing. They asked for a WD 320Gb KS, I said sure, started an order (took one sec, literally) and in that sec of starting the order, forgot what he asked for. 5 seconds later, I still couldn't remember. I had to ask him. I was so mortified. If the current rate of decline keeps up, I'll have less than a goldfish memory when I'm 30.
