I got called into the boss' office last night after work. As usual in such cases, I started thinking of all the bad reasons he may have called me in. Well, we had a chat about this and that, and at the end he mentioned he was giving me a pay rise! Swweeeeeeeeeeeet! As of the start of October (today) I'll be getting a bigger paycheck. I didn't ask how much, since I may have been given the answer in per annum, and per annnum means nothing to me. Only thing that means much to me is how much money I am able to get from my bank account each week! :) None of that "before tax" jargon for me. I digress. Anyway, I'll find out the difference when I get paid, which will be Tuesday this week due to the public holiday. On a tangent, this public holiday will be my second ever while at Netplus.
