Alright, it's not as if I haven't had things to say. Just my apathy being the status quo. The following will therefore be a hodgepodge of various things I should have previously posted about.

Saw "I am Legend" recently. It was less a scary horror movie and more a study of a man who happened to be in a zombie enviroment. It was mostly alright, Will Smith continues to be a good actor in my eyes.

When did I last post anyway? *checks* Oh right, that was a while ago. So Christmas was good. As usual, his family on Christmas Eve night, and my family Boxing Day lunch. Both went well, food was excellent and presents given were received wonderfully. Got a few cool things, the most used so far being a necklace and earrings set which are gorgeous. They are an orange-red tone, of which I didn't have previously so it fleshes out my wardrobe too.

My birthday is on the 24th, which is a Thursday. As two close friends will be away the weekend following, I will be doing my thing the weekend previous - that is this coming weekend. Current plan is to go ice-skating at the Skaters on Ice in Mirrabooka on the Sunday. I have yet to call up about session times and prices though, so I will post again later.

I do have a mobile again, most people will know already due to MSN or Liz's chrisengagement party. I think I've collected most numbers again.

I'm currently driving my brother's car, which is used to sitting at my parent's place collecting dust. My car turned out to have a snapped bolt on the crankshaft. Zig eventually went to the Suzuki people, but they had to order one in especially, most likely all the way from Japan! Ordered just before Christmas sometime, so still not sure when it will arrive. Looking forward to my car being fixed, it may not have the same turning circle as my bro's car, but it does have air-con! Hopefully the bolt will arrive soon, so that my mum can then drive it instead of buying a new car - her car of course got written off in that car accident. Her hairline cracked sternum healed up nicely a while back, and she's almost off the crutches for her ankle.

An extremely close friend of mine had an extremely close person to him die recently. Young too. It was a shock in many ways, and many many people are coming out of the woodwork to support him. The funeral is this Friday and I will be attending. I didn't know them person to person very well, but I feel I still know them because of all the stories I've heard, and it affects me more than I thought it would. It's been some....interesting times.

Still selling computers and computer parts. In a comfy groove at work at the moment, it's been quite good.

I've got an art project I'm doing in dribs and drabs at the moment. It's been a while since I've been inspired to do an art project - well, other than the one I did as the nieces and nephews Christmas project. I decorated the lids of archive boxes with funky paper and cryptic lines, and put their names on them. "X's Treasured Trinkets," "X's Nifty Doodads," etc. Anyway, the current project I'm on makes me want to crack out the acrylic paints, but I haven't used them for so many years that I'm afraid they might be dried up or gluggy. I know my cool tone yellow was already gluggy last time I used them - of course, that may simply be the products used within that particular colour. So the question is, should I find them to be unusable, should I replace them or just make do without? If I replace them and then not use them again for ages, t'would be a terrible waste. I shall have to delve behind the beanbags into the cupboard and see if the entire question is academic or not. I still have lean mean machine of a colouring hand and plenty of colouring pencils, and I made a line drawing that I could colour in. I will maybe do both!

Thus, t'will be enough for a overall view. There was more kicking around in my head during the break, but since it has not come to mind now it will be missed.
