The method description in the comments of this post makes me want to make caramel.

Re: Vertigo. It must be a virus like your doctor says, as I took last Monday off for being dizzy. Doesn't sound as severe as your version got, but still. It lessened over the week, but was still there. Like being tispy-drunk, only I was clear-headed. A friend of mine says a bunch of people she knows had it too. Be wary, for lately my eyes have been doing weird things too, and she said that her friends were mentioning the same thing.

Your photos are lovely, the one in this post especially struck a chord enough for me to have left a comment if I wasn't making this post.

Sad about cat happenings, Happy about lack of captial D depression despite swings, Happy about yay Freedon Foods for you.

Also, I like your writing. I am not interested in sport at all, yet I read every cricket entry you make as well as the comments. Ditto on other subjects.

My body has been doing crazy weird things for the last week and a bit, and I can't wait til it gets back to behaving normally.

1) Had the dizzy virus. Blah.
2) Got the "ow I looked at bright light now got purple in vision" thing on Saturday, and 10 minutes later it was still there.
3) My eyes have felt strained all weekend.
4) Had this weird pressure/pain thing in the bottom left hand side of my tummy for the last week at least, like in my intestines or something.
5) I seem to have started liking beer! Plus my chilli tolerance seems to have gotten higher.
6) Been tired despite good amounts of sleep
7) My nose has been itchy, which is likely connected to my nose becoming irritated and producing blood in small quantities of annoyingness.
8) I don't seem to be able to detect if it's hot or cold at night to see how many blankets I need. I've taken to asking Zig if it's cold.

I'm sure there's other things that don't spring to mind right at this moment.

On the plus side. My knee has been hurting since before the trip ended. I went to the chiro a few days after, which fixed it for a few days. Went to the chiro again to fix it again last Thursday. When it started hurting yet again that night, I remembered that mum used to give me Calcium Phosphate (tissue salt/homeopathic) whenever my legs started to bow in when I was a kid, and that would fix them. So I have taken Cal Phos for the last few days and hey bingo no knee issue for the last few days, whee!
