At Netplus there are three sales girls out the front. There's Stephanie, Leanne, and I. Last Thursday it was very quiet. So quiet, in fact, that the boss came out and said to Leanne and I, "Why don't one of you take the rest of the day off?". I went, "yeah?" in that 'are you serious?' kind of way, and Shaw went, "she said it first". *heh* I got the rest of that Thursday off and went.....OP-SHOPPING!!!! It felt soooooo good. I really enjoyed myself.

On Saturday I was over at my sister-in-law's place. She'd just held a family birthday party for her daughter who was turning 5. I turned up after everyone had left, since I have work on Saturdays and all. Cherrie, my sister-in-law decided that she wasn't going to do birthday parties at her place anymore, since she always ended up on her feet in the kitchen, the house ending up a mess, etc. We started brainstorming what else we could do for the next family birthday, which will be my mother's. We decided on going out to an asian restaurant by the name of Happy Meals, at which point I took over and invited everyone and made a booking at the restaurant. It felt wonderful to have organised it all, and it's about time I organised one of these family things anyway. :)

Last night I finally met up with someone I haven't seen since January. We had waffles :D mmmmmm, waffles. It was most excellent to see them again. I missed them.

Next on the agenda of "People I Must Catch Up With" are Alexa and Sonnlich.

Tonight Z and I are visiting another couple to have dinner. I feel all grown-up or old or something. Couples visiting couples? Fixed into my head as a 1950's, 1960's or even 1980's thing that 30+ yr olds do, not something that people in their 20's do in 2004. Just one of those stereotypes I have floating around in my head with no real substance to its form. It's funny when you discover these things.

Also, does anyone know what date in November Grace and Graham were having their wedding? This other couple I know is also getting married in November, and I'm hoping they don't clash with each other. It would be horrible to miss out on going to both, and even worse to have to decide between both :/
