My computer started first time this morning. Also, Z took my old power supply into work cos he needed one, and has let me know that it doesn't work there at all there. I have high hopes for my computer behaviour now.
Last night Laura, Roneil and I had a crew trainer meeting at about 9:15pm or so at Fast Eddy's. Soneil came along too. We kept going off topic, but that was because the tangents were so interesting. Eventually, the meeting de-evolved into the telling of jokes. Many good jokes were told, and before we knew it, it was midnight. So we said we'd all leave soon and told a few more jokes. Another look at a watch declared it 1:20am. Heh. Time flies when you're telling jokes.
I've discovered the new trick to make my fourth gear go in most of the time, so I'm not having such a hate fest with my car at the moment. It's _really_ annoying until I discover the newest trick to getting it into fourth. Which I truly thought didn't exist this time. Took me a few weeks thinking it was completely stuffed until I found it. Stupid gearbox.
In other news, I got stuck for something to do on my computer the other day, so fired up dc++ again after a few months of it lying dormant. Got chatting about jazz, and have discovered another band that's good. Ragabillys. I was told they're disbanded now, but they were a perth band when they were together. I'm listening to it right now and it's good. People who like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Cherry Poppin' Daddies (and who agrees with me that's one of the worst name a band could've given itself) should also like Ragabillys. It's slightly more bluesy jazz than the two daddy bands. I also downloaded the Cowboy Bebop album. Good music.
