Had a small sentence that popped into my head at bedtime a few weeks back. Small sentence held within it a massive truth of my life, and held easy release of a bad life habit of mine. The last few weeks have been odd, but good. Now the major shift in perception that happened is fine, but it stirred up a different childhood issue of mine. I think I've almost got that licked though.

A friend of mine has been having health issues for a while now, and it doesn't appear easily diagnosable or fixable. I find myself admiring the courage she's been showing, while feeling a little despairing that this is happening to her. We're only young, and she's younger by a few years. You hear of things like this happening to young people, but it's all very far removed from oneself. On some level I still expect that sort of thing to only happen to older people.

Saw X-men 3 last night. My verdict is: not emotionally engaging, but entertaining anyway. There's a short after the credits, only about 10 seconds, but worth waiting for.

I "cut & polish"ed my car last Sunday, it's all shiny looking. Yay! Could do with a clean inside, like throw rubbish out and vacuum.

My anniversary with Zig is coming up on June 11th. Not sure how we're going to be able to celebrate though, since his bro and sister are having a joint b-day party on the Saturday night, and I've got a baby shower to attend on Sunday afternoon. Boo, cos it means no camping together overnight on the saturday, and it means no picnic goodness on sunday cos of the shower, and the baby shower is sure to go one forever plus going out on Sunday nights is no good with work the next day.

Yay anyway though, because his work is doing a river cruise late June, which is always a lot of fun what with the buffet dinner, the free wine and beer, and the fact he works with my bro and another friend of theirs so that the company kept on the cruise is great too.

Love goes out to all of you, my friends. Special mentions (and hugs) to Alexa, Crispin, and Pam, but everyone of you, my friends, are wonderful.
