On Thursday I decided to create a tab on my iGoogle page for wedding stuff. There's an option "I'm feeling lucky" which will add applications based on the tab's title. Among the myriad of applications that turned up from "wedding" was a countdown timer. Neat! Apparently today marks A Whole One Thousand Days until I get married! Meanwhile, Elizabeth's will be showing just fourteen days *heh*
It occurs to me I never posted in here about the new Myaree branch for work. We officially opened just over three weeks ago. The boss has been there a lot of the time to see his new "baby" set right, but I've enjoyed that because it's allowed for some more friendly/casual conversations to be added to our dynamic rather than just having the strict boss/employee dynamic. He finally set up an alarm code for me this week, so the last few days he's left me to open and close. Customer tried to pull the I-want-to-speak-to-your-manager card on me yesterday. He irritated me a lot the day before that, so it was really satisfying to say "you're speaking to her" and proceed to reiterate the stance I had taken. Screw you annoying prick! Yeah! To illustrate the irritatingness, he first demanded that we provided wholesale sales and he should get it (we completely don't do wholesale), then he insinuated that his puny company was the same as ours, then he uttered the words "oh, retail customers first" when someone else was waiting even though he'd already been shot down on the wholesale thing, and THEN he had the nerve to ask what our cost price was on an item! Among other things. Soooo satisfying.
