Hello Rain! and internet person!
Monday, March 31st, 2008 11:24 amYay rain! Very nice to wake up to the sound of the rain this morning, even if it does mean that my washing that went on the line yesterday is soaking again today.
Possibly will be an update about my Easter trip at some point, haven't even looked at my photos yet though.
In other news, there is a guy on YouTube whose videos I have subscribed to. His videos come across as fairly random, with occasional tidbits of interesting things I would not otherwise know, like the fact Doritos of corn chip fame beamed an advertisement into space for some reason. This guy (YouTube username gradualreport) has decided to take a trip around the world and while doing so meet a bunch of the people who watch his videos. Australia is included, and even more interesting is Perth is included. Feeling somewhat random myself, I shot off an email last night indicating interest in meeting him - and he replied! While not gushing over him in rabid fangirl fashion, I do admit I felt a bit of a thrill that this guy I've never met who I watch frequently contacted me. *heh* Since he is planning to drive north to Exmouth, I sent him another email this morning with all sorts of useful information gathered from my recent trip north, along with a warning about the randomness of kangaroos in country driving.
