Been cruising along lately. Z currently has the kombi that belonged to his dad. It's done the rounds of the family for while, Louis has had it for the last few years because it was good for carting his drum kit around. Before Louis took it, Zig had planned to build a bed in the back for camping trips, one that could be folded up so that you could also fit motorbikes in the back. Now that he's got the kombi back he's planning on finishing it so that we use it. He decided to take this whole week off to fix the kombi. Put a new engine in it that has been sitting there waiting for a few years now. Spent ages sanding the roof and getting rust free. Put primer on it yesterday and is planning to paint it today. Once the roof is done, I presume he'll be moving on the the rest of it. He says that the traditional kombi roof colour is white, probably because it's so big and needs to reflect heat. Was tossing up between white or colour for the body. Rio said that white hides the dents better, so the white kombi will be painted white again.

Meanwhile, I seem to be double booking myself lately. I'm not sure where all this extra stuff came from, but my plate seems very full. A lot of it is stuff with friends though, so it leaves me boosted rather than drained. Yay! One chiropractic appointment was rescheduled in favour of friends. Yay friends.
