Stirling Silver Rings - with memories attached

I own two particular stirling silver rings with memories attached. I received each of them from separate friends for my 16th birthday on the first day school was back that year. For a long time (quite possibly years, although memory is hazy) I wore them both pretty much every day. The last year or two, I haven't worn them much due to having grown a little and gained a little weight since I was 16. I had to put the rings on and off with water. They had also become a little mishapen and non-circular with wear. Last week I decided to take them to the jeweller and get them bent back into shape to see if it would assist in the putting on and off. While I was there I decided to get them increased a size or two to fit my current finger sizes. Today I went and picked them up.

First words:
SHINY! SO SHINY!

They had polished them up as part of the procedure. So shiny, so pretty, so good. So easy to put on and take off. They are going to get worn quite often again now.
