Warning, birthday, dizzy, reading, surprise.
Wednesday, July 20th, 2005 08:41 amHaven't read my friend's list for a week. Last thing I saw was pics of a shaving event. I shall have to catch up when I have plenty of time to catch up in one sitting.
So, a warning, a most dire warning to all Sci-fi and Fantasy fans. If you value your money and your time, do not - I repeat, do not - go to Tim's White Dwarf Books. It's a few doors up from Supernova, has enthusiatic staff, plenty of stock and *gasp* reasonable prices. When I first entered I thought it was just another place, but I came out all fired up and in love. I shall have to avoid the place now, or I'm going to spend all my money and time on books. Oh, and they have a dalek. Check them out.
Z's b-day was yesterday, we celebrated with just the two of us on Monday because I was going to have band last night. I'm going on band camp this weekend, so I definitely needed to go. Monday was a wonderful night full of yummy dinner, present receiving, and love. Yay Zig!
So I was dizzy yesterday afternoon, where I was still able to function properly but was wondering whether I should be driving home after work or not. I ended up driving, but my reactions were those of a person who had been drinking. Worrisome. I was dizzy the afternoon before too, but not so much and not so long. I didn't eat on Monday, but I did eat Tuesday, so I don't *think* it's food related. I was also not thinking clearly, so I gave band a miss, since I didn't really want to drive there and back, and I would have been stuffing up lots when I was there anyway.
I have obtained a pdf of the latest Harry Potter. I read lots last night. One of those earlier chapters was very revealing, and it had me going, "Oh my god! oh my, " out loud even. Alas, but work shall be a hinderance today. All I'm going to want to do is read.
In other news, I've got a big surprise brewing. It's not for anyone who I think reads this, but I won't say just in case. Stay tuned, I shall eventually say what it was. So happy!
