Webpage Workings

Worked on my webpage some, and typed up some more writing from ages back. It's all behind the scenes still at this stage. When it eventually gets finished I'll whack the whole lot up in one hit, with new writing, revised content, and CSS compliant coding.

Just getting stuck on the css right now. Trying to figure out how to get all the style changes through each sub file to talk nice to each other within the one css file without resorting to a separate css file for each overall colour scheme change. Close to finishing after I work that out. Then it's finishing off converting of html files into ones not containing the style within them anymore, with proper closed off tags and everything. That's more time consuming that brain dependant, so it's more likely to happen. The brain hurting while struggling to understand the nuances of the CSS coding is what made me run away from the webpage overhaul last time.

For now, I'm going to bed. I'm shocked I've actually stayed up this long. It's a good two hours after my usual absolute latest time to bed.

CSS, I am your master. Bow down to me and weep.

I have one CSS file, and it does all that I wish. Next step, take the old html files, remove all style and leave just content, then close all my tags properly. Boring monkey work, but easy and do-able. My webpage might even get updated this year sometime.

F*ck, I thought I had it. Something is broken, and I can't track what it is.

Edit: Belay that, I was stoopid and had called something a class when it was actually an ID. Yay! Onward and Upward!
