So, I had a really crappy day at work. I decided I was going to drop around AXG for the first time in ages and play some LAN games, only when I got there everything was painted over and there was no light. So, AXG has closed down? How? Why? Zuh?

Damn I'm tired. What with the late nights this weekend and stupid ass-hat customers all day, I amazed I'm still in an online mood. Sooo, now that I'm in the middle of updating, I should update properly. This is the sixth week at work now. The funny thing about working Saturdays is that my long weekends are the length of other people's normal weekends.

Last Saturday night I went over [livejournal.com profile] lizbyrd's to participate in a ST:TNG "How to host a mystery" thingy. It was good, and fun, and enjoyable. We finished about 10:30pm, at which time I called another friend, Grace, and inquired as to the state of their gathering for her birthday. Her fiance Grahame answered the phone and said there was a nice gathering of a few people. I needed petrol, and since my bro works the night shift at a BP that was on the way, I thought it was the perfect oppurtunity to finally visit him at work. Was all nice and good, etc. I got to Grace's. They've been at that house for over a year, but it was still the first time I'd seen it. Lazy bum that I am and all. I had fun, and it was good, and fun, and enjoyable. So good, in fact, that I didn't end up leaving until 5:30am. I haven't gone to bed past 11pm for sooooo long, 5:30am really was a kicker. I almost fell asleep at the wheel 6 times on the way home...not good, or fun, or enjoyable. But still, it wasn't until I was mostly at home before I started falling asleep at the wheel, and by then I was almost home. Obviously, I survived.

Sunday, Z fixed my car more. The left CV joints on both my car and the spare parts car were crap, so Z pulled both apart and built a new one from the non-worn bits of both. No more click click click. No more fear of it suddenly going "chick" and my steering not working in the middle of driving. This fixing was on top of the fixing I got last weekend. I am loving my fixed car. Fourth gear, better brakes, good cv joints, etc etc etc. Mmmmm, non-sucky car goodness.
Sunday night I went over to [livejournal.com profile] dr_jekyl's for her "80's cartoons" night. Was good, and fun, and enjoyable. Left there at 1:00am-ish. I thought I might be too tired, what with the late night the night before and all, but [livejournal.com profile] terrycat was there and gave me a zap of energy that woke me up good and lasted me until I got home and was in bed.
Monday was a very slow day. Spent half the day in my pyjamas. Oh yes, I have pyjamas now. The cold drove me to it. I bought nice, bright material that I love for two different pyjama sets and got my sister-in-law to sew them up for me. Of course, nice and bright equates to Z thinking they're crap, but I still love them. :D

Went to bed about 10pm-ish. This morning, the weekend took its toll. I couldn't wake up, just kept going back to sleep. Z ended up having to literally drag me out of bed. Then, of course, the whole day was crap. It was just one of those days. Everyone at work was having a crap day.

So, the cat is still hanging around. It's annoying and nice at the same time. It sleeps on the bed, which is nice, but it tries to sleep up near our faces until we push it away enough times. It curls up and sleeps near us or on the bed after being fed, but it never shuts up until it does get fed. Unless it's the morning, in which case it doesn't shut up even after it's been fed. The cat has a very horrible, harsh miaow. It has a very soft, fluffy coat of fur. It hangs around even though it gets locked outside every day, and even some nights when it's been fighting or something. The cat is truly bizarre.

And so adieu, and au reviour
