The end is near for tv sci-fi/fantasy
Wednesday, April 14th, 2004 08:30 amWell, Channel 9 _always_ stuffs up sci-fi and fantasy, cutting shows off mid season and sometimes cutting shows off altogether...midseason.
From Channel Ten, I've come to expect better. More fool I. The bastards not only cut off the new Charmed mid season, but for the last two weeks they've had ads for new Charmed yet have been dishing up repeats instead. Wtf? I mean, that's like promising a puppy dog a nice fat juicy bone and then giving it a completey dry and devoid of any flavour bone instead. Bastards.
If you're going to advertise that a new Charmed is on this Thursday, then _give_ me new Charmed, not a repeat. 'Sides, if they've planned to put new Charmed on, as they obviously have due to the ads, and they haven't filled the slot yet with anything else, as evidenced by the repeats, then WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING! No doubt about it, this signals that it is not just channel 9 that sci-fi/fantasy is dead for, the end is coming for sci-fi/fantasy on all channels.
Bah humbug.
