Old memories

It was at least 11pm if not 1 am when I got of the train and started walking the 20 min trip home. About 200 metres down the road, this old aboriginal guy asked me for a smoke. From memory, I think I gave him one (I smoked back then). So then he walked along with me, talking about I don't remember what. When I got to about 100 metres of my home, I stopped and tried to get rid of him cos I didn't really want him to know where I lived.
Then followed about a hour long "conversation" is which he was convinced I was brainwashed just like everyone else was just because I didn't want to screw him. Wouldn't take "no, I don't want to screw you and no, I'm not brainwashed" for an answer.
He was also drunk.
I was very glad when I was able to get free of him and continue the last 100 metres without being followed. I still lived at home at the time too. Very comforting having parents in the house after something like that.
