Bah. THE "not being on my computer at all much for ages, and then forgetting all the things that I wanted to up date about before" bug has bitten me yet again.
To gloss over the reasons why, I have a friend staying with me for two weeks, and I'm looking into places for him to move into instead of going back home after. He's stayed two weeks before, around last Christmas, but due to unfortunate circumstances he had to go back home, where everything was mostly ok for a while. Recent events have me trying to get him into his own place again. The whole "our son is still our child, not an adult with his own brain, feelings, and needs" syndrome.
And the rest of the stuff I had to update I've forgotten. Or will ignore.
Ohhh! One of the things I forgot that I've just remembered. My sister-in-law has 1)got a house to rent that is only 15 mins from Queens Park, so nice and close for my bro, dad, and nephew to go and visit. 2)Has bought a place down in Donnybrook, so may eventually move down there but for now is going to rent.
All in all, rather good and exciting.
I'm re-reading Harry Potter. Read Philosopher's Stone yesterday while at Queens Park, and Lawrence (nephew) lent me Chamber of Secrets which I'm reading today. THen I'll have to track down the rest from a library. Great stuff :D
